Homemade Forests
Concrete examples of city reforestation
For several years now, we have been witnessing the emergence of numerous initiatives aimed at combating climate change. There are truly all kinds of them, an undeniable sign that an ever-increasing awareness is emerging. The attempt is to reach as many people as possible and enable each of them to make their own contribution.
There are those who can plant a tree "remotely" and reforest distant countries, and those who can support a green startup.
We have chosen to highlight some philanthropic initiatives born solely from passion and patience.
As evidence that everyone in their own space can easily contribute to nature by creating a food forest or an ideal bamboo forest to combat hydrogeological disasters. Or by transforming fallow land into a forest where biodiversity can thrive for wildlife recovery.
All of this, of course, is home made.
The creators of these projects have made themselves available to share their knowledge: each of these initiatives yields lessons that amplify and replicate best practices for future generations.
